Welcome to The Design Co (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing or using our website, community, or digital products (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
Please read them carefully before using our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services.
By using our Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Services Offered

The Design Co provides resources and support for designers, including:

  • Coaching sessions and mentorship

  • Community memberships (e.g., The Design Collective)

  • Digital products, templates, and guides (e.g., Notion resources)

  • Add-on services (e.g., application reviews, mock interviews)

Some Services are delivered through third-party providers such as Podia, Stripe, Slack, and Notion.

3. Payments and Billing

  • All fees are listed in USD unless otherwise specified.

  • Payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Podia, Stripe). We do not store your credit card information.

  • Subscriptions (such as memberships) automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

Refund Policy:

  • Coaching sessions: Refunds available if canceled at least 24 hours in advance. No refunds for no-shows.

  • Digital products: All sales are final.

  • Memberships: Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused time.

4. Use of Services

You agree to use our Services lawfully and respectfully. You may not:

  • Share, resell, or redistribute purchased products or community materials.

  • Use our content for commercial purposes without written consent.

  • Harass, spam, or disrupt other community members.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or other misuse.

5. Intellectual Property

All content we provide—including templates, guides, course materials, and branding—is owned by The Design Co and protected under copyright and trademark laws.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only.
You may not copy, resell, distribute, or publicly share our materials without written permission.

6. Coaching & Educational Disclaimer

Our coaching, resources, and digital materials are for educational and informational purposes only.
They do not guarantee employment, income, or specific results.
You are solely responsible for applying the guidance provided and for your own outcomes.

7. Community Guidelines

If you participate in The Design Collective or any other community space, you agree to:

  • Be kind, respectful, and constructive.

  • Maintain confidentiality and avoid sharing others’ information without consent.

  • Follow all posted community rules.

We may remove or suspend members who violate these standards without refund.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

Our Services may include links or integrations with third-party tools (e.g., Slack, Notion, Podia, Stripe).
We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
Your use of those tools is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Design Co is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services, including lost income, data, or opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service in question.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Design Co, its affiliates, and team members from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for misuse, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.
You may cancel your account or subscription through your Podia account at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Middlesex County, MA.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
Continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
